I am working on helping with some of the VMware Hybrid Service VMworld content reviews and I learned there will be three hands on labs that directly deal with the offering. The three labs are:
- HOL-HBD-1301 – vCloud Air Jump Start for vSphere Admins
- HOL-HBD-1302 – Advanced Networking and Security
- HOL-HBD-1303 – Hybrid Cloud Management – Manage Your Cloud
If you are starting to investigate hybrid cloud and specifically the VMware vCloud Air you might want to get these on your “To Do” list. I know the networking one is being worked on by my good friend Greg Herzog and he also has a couple breakout sessions. If I myself have time I may even give the labs a try just to see how it feels from your seat. It’s always different getting the perspective of the attendee than a speaker.
As we get closer to VMworld I know I will be involved a lot this year with things relating to vCloud Air both with sessions, and maybe expert and group discussions. My co-worker Mike Roy will also be there along with a host of others where we will have lots of various demo pods at the booth. I’m excited for this year even though it could be my busiest year ever.
